Fixtures

The club runs several teams so there is a chance for anyone who wishes to play more competitive tennis to do so. We have three Senior Doubles teams: Ladies, Mens and Mixed; and Juniors teams.

Senior fixtures

Ladies, Mens and Mixed teams play up to 6 matches per season, at home and away. The winter season starts in October and ends in March. The summer starts in April and ends in July. Fixtures can be carried-over to the end of September if required. The matches can be as close as Cowden or Edenbridge, or as far away as Canterbury or Haywards Heath. Each match consists of two pairs, who each play 3 sets against both opposition pairs. All home games are played on Sunday mornings and away games can be Saturday mornings or afternoons, or Sunday mornings.

Ladies

– Captain: Di Barber

Our Ladies team plays in the Kent League in Winter and the Weald League in Summer.

Mens

– Captain: John Holland

Our Mens team plays in the Weald league in the Winter and Summer.

Mixed

– Captain: Iza Hales (Winter) & Sue Smith (Summer)

Friendly fixtures

Matches are arranged against local clubs with the emphasis on non-league-team players participating to help develop their confidence and to give them some match practise without any pressure. See Newsletter for details.
